Night Shift Unit Manager

Western Peaks Specialty Hospital is accepting resumes for the position of Unit Manager. The Unit Manager provides nursing supervision in the planning for and provision of nursing care to patients and directs and evaluates care given by other nurses and personnel. The Unit Manager provides education, assesses needs, plans for, implements, evaluates and documents care as well as coordinating with the interdisciplinary team on the evolving needs of each patient. The Unit Manager reports to the DON & CNO and is responsible for overseeing nursing care provided by the staff working on the LTAC unit. Ideal candidate must be able to multitask patient care orders with supervising staff on the floor. Must have excellent communication skills with daily physician interaction. This is a full time position (3-12’s). The hours are 2 pm to 2 am. Qualifications:
• Must hold a current Utah RN license
• ACLS certification must be current
• Critical Care and previous experience as an RN Supervisor recommended
